5. Hey Mr. DJ What's
taking you so long?
Typical
turntable setup procedure:

Stash the vinyl
records where you can grab at them
easily

Stash your travel cases
where nobody will trip on them

Place both your
Turntables on the table with the mixer
in between

Place you recording
deck somewhere near - if you plan to
record

Start connecting the
inputs to outputs and vice versa.

Hook up your precious
cartridges - that
you had to remove in case they
got messed up in transit.

Connect all power
connections for all equipment

Power-up and sound
check: Oh no - where is that nasty
hum coming from? Could it be the
mixer? or the amp? or maybe its the
turntable's ground connection?

8. Your Music is your

 The quality of your sound
system is what sets you apart from your
competitors. Now, everybody knows that a
digital recording system is far more
superior to its analog counterpart.
That is why digital recording
equipment are so expensive (around

Vinyl and CDs slowly wear
down each time you play them. After a
while, the quality of your music starts to
go lower as the CDs get scratched and the
Vinyl accumulates dust particles (or gets
warped). There's no way of avoiding this -

time you play a record, the stylus
